The newest trend in baby showers is to help dad celebrate the newest baby as well. Since fathers have often been neglected, whether a good thing or a bad, the tide has begun to turn and more and more couples are having dads only parties.
The most basic dad themed baby shower is called a diaper party. It simply sees dad hosting a party and all the guests (usually all males) bring a pack of diapers. The rest of the party may or may not be baby themed. You might see guys watching the game and drinking beer, or playing poker and laughing it up.
Either way it's a great way to celebrate dad and the new baby without a traditional baby shower.
